Abstract: This dissertation investigates the transformation of higher education in response to evolving workforce demands. As universities globally transition to diverse teaching formats, the integration of Flipped Classroom (FC) courses and the utilization of Learning Analytics (LA) take center stage. The FC approach, emphasizing interactive in-class sessions and pre-class self-learning phases, offers opportunities for skill development aligned with changing workforce needs. Challenges in FC design, however, persist. Learning Analytics emerges as a solution to enhance self-regulated learning skills through data collection and analysis. The dissertation aims to systematically develop and integrate FCs into higher education operations, proposing a process model, and explores the potential of LA to optimize FC courses. The research contributes insights, implications, and avenues for further exploration in the dynamic landscape of contemporary education.
